2. App-Specific Identifier

When the App is first used, it generates an app-specific unique identifier (UUID) that is stored locally on the device. This identifier:

• Is not linked to your real-world identity
• Is not associated with your Apple ID
• Is not shared in raw form with third parties
• Exists solely to associate app-generated content and usage limits with a device

The identifier is used to support features such as topic management, content generation limits, and subscriptions.

3. Information We Collect

Usage and Diagnostic Information

We collect limited, non-personal information to operate and improve the App, including:

• App launches
• Feature usage
• Widget refresh activity
• Content generation requests
• Error and crash diagnostics

For analytics purposes, the device identifier is hashed before being stored or processed. We cannot reverse this hash to identify individual users.

4. AI Content Generation

The App allows users to define topics and prompts for AI-generated daily content. To provide this functionality:

• Topic prompts and configuration details are sent to AI processing services
• No personal identifiers (such as name, email, or contact details) are included in these requests
• Generated content is stored only to support app functionality (daily display, widgets, and regeneration)

5. Third-Party Services

AI Widget Daily uses the following third-party services strictly to provide core app functionality:

Sentry (Crash Reporting and Diagnostics)

We use Sentry to monitor app stability and diagnose technical issues. Sentry may process:

• Device type
• Operating system version
• App version
• Error logs and stack traces

This information is used exclusively for debugging and improving reliability.

OpenAI (AI Content Processing)

We use OpenAI's API to generate text content:

• Topic prompts and configuration data are sent to OpenAI's servers for processing
• No personally identifiable information is included
• OpenAI processes data in accordance with its own privacy policies

Tavily (Search for Updates Content)

For certain topic types that require real-time information (such as news or weather updates), the App uses Tavily's search API:

• Search queries related to content generation are sent to Tavily
• No personally identifiable information is included in these requests

The App does not support social features, messaging, or user profiles.
